The Board of Education of the City of Hackensack is inviting its citizens to take an active role in their search for new leadership. They want to hear directly from you, as to the kind of qualities you want in a new Superintendent of Schools. You may provide them with your input in a couple of different ways. You may directly access the search consultant's survey form via the school district's webpage at www.hackensackschools.org. On the right side of the page, you will see a box that reads, “We Want Your Feedback…” Click on the link and complete the survey form. If you don’t have a computer or smartphone with Internet access, you may complete a paper survey, which may be found at the Johnson Public Library’s circulation desk and children's library section. Computers are also available at the library for your use, should you so choose.
There will be a Superintendent Search Forum, on Wednesday, November 9, in the Hackensack High School auditorium at 7:30 PM. You may attend and provide your input at that time as well.
We hope you will take the time to provide the Board of Education with this very important information. Selecting the right person, one best fits the district and our community, is paramount and we thank you in advance for your input.
