The Hackensack Cultural Arts Center is bringing back children’s programming, when the Hackensack School System is on vacation! The Science of Magic uses mirrors, magnets, air, optical illusions and mental confusions to educate and delight the audience. Demonstrating the principles of light, sight, reflection, magnetism, memory, air pressure and logic. We can’t give away all of our secrets, but we can show the audience tricks that they can learn to do themselves!

A BI-LINGUAL PRODUCTION OF
The Magnificent Wizard of Oz

The Magnificent Wizard of Oz is a new bi-lingual adaptation of the original Wizard of Oz by L. Frank Baum. In this new adaptation, Dorothy doesn't want to go home to Kansas, but wants to have adventures in Oz; free of homework, chores and responsibility. During her adventures, Dorothy befriends a Scarecrow who is a EMT, a Tin Man who is a Firefighter, and a Cowardly Lion who is a Police Officer afraid of crooks. The Magnificent Wizard of Oz boasts diversity of music such as Rock-n-Roll, Salsa, and Reggaeton. Through their journey with her friends, Dorothy learns the value of family, education and responsibility.

When: Thursday, February 22, 2007 at 11:00am

"God is a Puerto Rican"

A young Puerto Rican man and an older white buisnessman confront each other in the park. Through conversation they find reference to childhood upon which they attempt to find common ground.

"Healing" and "The Therapeutic Hour"
Two companion pices by Guy Fedrick Glass of New York, New York.

Both character studies into the mind of women and how they see each other.

A twenty minute farce about the dilemma of loneliness and safety versus commitment and risk.
