A Travel Photography Show
by Joel Schilling
at Weiner Library
The Fairleigh Dickinson University Library has scheduled a new series of photography travel shows and exhibits for the spring semester. The first photography show “Travel Journal: Italy, France and Alaska” will be presented by Joel Schilling at 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, February 25, 2007. It will be shown in the Weiner Library Auditorium on the ground floor and the library is located at 980 River Road, Teaneck, NJ. It opens to the FDU community as well as to the public.
A donation of $5.00 is suggested, but free to students, faculty and staff with a valid ID. There is a metered parking area across the street by the tennis courts, but free parking is at the FDU main parking lot near Route 4.
Joel traveled to Italy numerous times and in his presentations, you will see Cinque Terre, the images of the Ligurian Sea, vineyards, olive groves, people, and the five towns that comprise this Italian National Park. The second area was his exploration of the villages and countryside of southern Provence, which currently belongs to France. A more recent trip was to Alaska where he photographed the diverse flora and fauna of Denali, Katmai and Glacier Bay National Parks in Alaska. For additional information, please call 201-692-2140.
