Apartment 3A, written by movie actor and playwright Jeff Daniels, is a captivating and charming romantic comedy about love, hope, and faith, filled with twists, turns, and Daniels’ unique humor.

The play opens as Annie Wilson moves into an empty apartment in a rundown neighborhood.  She has just left the man she lived with for the last several years…a man she thought was the love of her life until she found him in bed with another woman.  Naturally, she is depressed and lonely.  And, though her new landlord tries to cheer her up by assuring her that she is, in fact, very lucky to have moved into Apartment 3A - courtesy of a soon to be underway, state-led, neighborhood, redevelopment project - Anna has lost all faith in mankind…emphasis on the man.

Soon, her depression and anger lead to a very funny and totally inappropriate blow up at work.  And, Anna hits an all time low.    But, eventually, Donald, the charming, though slightly odd and very persistent, next door neighbor breaks through her depression and her defenses.   And, he leads her on a journey of discovery, a journey to find out and understand what love truly means….

Of course, given that the play is filled with funny and surprising revelations…things don’t proceed exactly the way you might think….
