Free Rabies Clinic    

Rabies continues to be present in New Jersey wildlife, therefore it continues to be important to protect your pets and community against rabies, by making sure that your pet’s rabies immunization is up to date. To remind and encourage pet owners to vaccinate their cats and dogs, the Hackensack Health Department will be holding is annual fall FREE rabies clinic. It will be held as follows:                

Date: Thursday, November 4, 2010
Time: 7:00 PM to 8:30 PM  
Place: Hackensack City Public Works Garage, 120 East Broadway, Hackensack    

All dogs that are brought to the clinic must be leashed and cats must be brought in a cat carrier cage or box.   The clinic will be held at the Hackensack City Public Works Garage. The clinic is free and open to all Hackensack resident cat and dog owners. Pet licenses are renewable annually in January. Any pet owner who does yet have a current year license for his or her pet is past due. Cat and dog licenses will be available for purchase at the clinic.
