Pictures of the unveiling ceremony of a commemorative street sign erected in honor of Rev. Dr. James P. Coleman which took place on Sunday, October 25, 2015, 1:30pm at the corner of Central and 2nd Street, Hackensack, NJ.

Rev. Dr. Coleman lead his congregation from the old Mount Olive Baptist Church, 202-4 James Street, Hackensack, to its current location at 260 Central Avenue, Hackensack. He worked to improve the quality of lives in the church, the community, the nation and the world. Dr. Coleman passed away in 1982 and, his influence, especially in the community of Hackensack and Bergen County, has impacted many persons who currently benefit from his untiring and unrelenting determination to achieve the best. At the time of his death at the age of 52, Rev. Coleman was serving the community which included his church and as Chaplain for the Hackensack Fire Department.
