With the long-awaited American Dream shopping and entertainment complex opening in East Rutherford this October, hundreds of jobs are coming to the Hackensack area, and the first of two August hiring events is taking place this Saturday in Hackensack from 9:00am-1:00pm in Mt. Olive Baptist Church, 260 Central Ave., Hackensack.
Saturday’s hiring event is sponsored in conjunction with the Bergen Chapter of the NAACP, and will allow members of the community to meet with American Dream leadership about exciting career opportunities. Available positions are in Engineering and Maintenance, Security, Parking and Traffic, Guest Services, Theme Park Ride Operators and Technicians, Supervisors and more.

said Hackensack Mayor John Labrosse. “I encourage any Hackensack residents looking for opportunities for themselves or friends to visit the American Dream hiring event this Saturday at Mt. Olive Baptist Church from 9:00am-1:00pm.”
A second hiring event will take place Tuesday, August 27 at St. Paul’s Episcopal Church at 113 Engle St., Englewood, NJ from 2:00-6:00pm.
