We need your help and your time!
Our volunteer ambulance corps members work tirelessly and without pay. The volunteers keep returning because of their dedication and pride in the community, the incredible sense of satisfaction in helping to save a life, deliver a baby, administer CPR or just helping a fellow person in their time of need.

We are in immediate need of more volunteer Emergency Medical Technicians. The training is flexible to meet your schedule, it is provided locally (in Paramus, Mahwah, Secaucus or Wayne) and it is at no cost to the prospective volunteer.

Once certified, volunteers contribute their time to the corps in six-hour increments, either 6pm to midnight, midnight to 6am, on weekdays or weekends.
While any time commitment is greatly appreciated and accepted, the majority of the volunteers contribute more than 60 hours a month!

If you are interested in EMT training or volunteering your time to the corps, please contact:

Police Captain Robert Wright or Police Sergeant Brian Corcoran at 201-646-7727 or Ambulance Captain Ken Mele at 201-646-3987
You can also come to Ambulance HQ any evening at 6:00 p.m. HQ is located behind Fire Headquarters at 205 State Street, Hackensack (behind John A. Earl Supply Co. at 216 Union Street)

Donations also needed!
We are funded solely by your donations. The corps is a non-profit organization and your generous donation is tax deductible. Please mail your contribution to this worthy cause to:
