CHIEF FINANCIAL OFFICER – HACKENSACK CITY (Bergen County) has an immediate opening for a full-time CMFO. Responsibilities: all those pursuant to state statute and federal regulations, and prior knowledge/experience must include strong command of Edmunds Systems financial software, debt, grant, escrow and financial management, labor negotiations, budget preparation, payroll processing, pension certifying officer, purchasing, cash management, possession of QPA Certification and/or ability to obtain, and other duties as assigned. Minimum three (3) years’ experience as municipal CMFO or in an equivalent local governmental accounting environment. Due to interaction with administration, staff and the public, candidate must have excellent interpersonal skills. Excellent health benefits package.
