3/10/2014 - Request for Proposal: Recycling Calendar Printing

Requests for proposal for the PRINTING OF THE RECYCLING CALENDAR for The City of Hackensack will be received at The City of Hackensack, Council Chambers, 65 Central Avenue, 3rd Floor, Hackensack, New Jersey 07601 until 10:00am prevailing time on Tuesday, March 25th, 2014, which time and place proposals will be publicly opened and read aloud.

Specifications for the above may be obtained at the Office of the City Clerk, 65 Central Avenue, Third Floor, Hackensack, New Jersey between the hours of 9:00am and 4:00pm
daily, except Saturday, Sundays and Holidays. The City of Hackensack WILL NOT MAIL any specifications. All specifications shall be obtained in person.

Bidders are required to comply with the requirements of N.J.S.A. 10:5-31 et seq. and N.J.A.C. 17:27 regarding equal employment opportunity, as amended.

Bidder must include in bid package: 1) Certificate of Employee Information Report,
2) Letter of Federal Approval, or 3) Complete Form AA 302. The City of Hackensack reserves the right to reject any and all bids, and to accept the one that is in its judgment, will be in the best interest of the City of Hackensack. Bidder must have a valid BUSINESS REGISTRATION CERTIFICATE or bid will be rejected.

A bid security in the form of a bid bond, or certified check or cashier’s check in the sum
of 10 percent (10%) of the total price bid, or $20,000.00, whichever is the lesser, is
Required of all bidders. Such bid guarantee shall be refunded to all but the three apparent lowest responsible bidders and will be returned, unless otherwise requested by the bidder,
within 10 days after the opening of the bids. Within 3 days after the awarding and signing
of the contract and the approval of the contractor’s performance and payment bond, the bid security of the remaining unsuccessful bidders will be returned.
